Central heating boiler. The engineer attended the same day the boiler breakdown was reported. Three attempts were made to repair the old boiler including having to wait for a spare part to be supplied by the boiler manufacturer. It was agreed to scrap the old boiler and supply a new one of different type no pipes etc had to be changed to fit. No charge was made for the labour on the old boiler but the spare part had to be paid for.
